The Big 4-0

Well, I survived the transition from the 30's to the 40's. I have stressed about this for weeks and now it has come and gone for yet another year. I must admit, this is truly the best birthday I have had in years. It started with my husband getting up and getting the kids off to the bus while I slept in followed by breakfast in bed and then the big gift. Don along with my family is sending me to Florida to spend a few days with my "oldest" girlfriend. Niki and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. I am guessing around 33 or 34 years. I am so excited. I am looking forward to a little R and R. I don't have an exact departure date yet but I'm thinking late Feb early March. If this is how I will start my "over the hill" life at 40, bring on 50. I'm ready.(ok, not really but I think I will be in 10 years)LOL

    Who said there would be any R & R when you get here?? We don't do that in Florida.
    Not only and I your "oldest" friend, I am also your "coolest" friend. Or maybe thats your "craziest", I'm not sure.
